Die Graduiertenschule für Ost- und Südosteuropastudien begrüßt am 30. November Prof. Dr. Diana Mishkova (Sofia) im Kolloquium in Regensburg. Sie wird einen Vortrag mit dem Titel "Transnationalism and Historical Regions: Lessons from Southeastern Europe" halten.
Abstract
The first part of the lecture will survey the long-standing intraregional tradition of conceptualizing Southeastern Europe as a supranational space and its relationship with nationalism. The second part will delve into the ways these regionalist schemes can be fruitfully related to the on-going debates about historical regions and transnationalism.
Das Kolloquium richtet sich sowohl an die Mitglieder der Graduiertenschule für Ost- und Südosteuropastudien als auch an die interessierte Hochschulöffentlichkeit.
