On behalf of the Graduate School, its spokesmen Professor Martin Schulze Wessel and Professor Ulf Brunnbauer have been editing the book series "Schnittstellen. Studien zum östlichen und südöstlichen Europa", which has been published with "Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht" since 2014. The series brings together current research on the history, literature, culture and politics of East and Southeast Europe. Most titles are based on doctoral dissertations completed at the Graduate School or partner insitutions in Munich and Regensburg.

This weblog provides insights into research projects, presents current research results as well as shorter contributions / observations on remembrance cultures in Eastern and Southeastern Europe from a transnational and interdisciplinary perspective. It invites discussion and provides a forum for scholars at different stages in their career as well as from different disciplines.
