Seventh IOS Annual Conference (Regensburg)

"Firms and Social Change in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. Historical, Political and Economic Perspectives"

The Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Studies (IOS) holds its Seventh Annual Conference in Regensburg from 23 to 25 May 2019. The international conference will discuss research on "Firms and Social Change in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Historical, Political and Economic Perspectives".

Papers on various aspects of economic development and its social and political implications in Eastern and Southeastern Europe will be presented and discussed in seven panel sessions. Opening keynote lectures are to be delivered by Andrei Yakovlev (Moscow) on "Evolution of State-Business relations in Post-Soviet Russia" as well as by Jan O. Hesse (Bayreuth) on "Business History – A Western Approach?".
