In cooperation, the Chair of European History and the Graduate School of Eastern and Southeastern European Studies invite to a lecture by Jennifer Keating (Dublin) entitled 'Anti-Colonial Rebellion and Political Egology: The Russian Civil War in Central Asia, 1916-1920'.

Jennifer Keating is a lecturer in modern East European history at the University College Dublin (UCD). She is a historian of imperial Russia, working on the Russian empire in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Jennifer spent 2016-2017 teaching Russian and Soviet history at the University of Cambridge, and has previously also taught at UCL and LSE.
