"Leonid Breschnew. Staatsmann und Schauspieler"

On Thursday, 10 Januarary 2019, the Graduate School welcomes Professor Dr. Susanne Schattenberg (Bremen) to the Colloquium in Regensburg. Professor Schattenberg will deliver a paper in German language on "Leonid Breschnew" as statesman and actor.

Dr. Susanne Schattenberg is Professor of Contemporary History and the Culture of Eastern Europe at the University of Bremen and director of the attached Research Centre for East European Studies (Forschungsstelle Osteuropa – FSO). Her research area is the late Soviet Union: the party leaders Khrushchev and Brezhnev, dissent and consent, homo sovieticus, and the cultural history of foreign policy.

All members of the Graduate School and all members of the Universities in Munich and Regensburg are warmly invited to participate.
