The Fall of the Wall: A Perspective from Central Eastern Europe

On Thursday evening, 23 May 2019, Professor Dr Martin Schulze Wessel will be giving a public talk on "The Fall of the Wall – A Perspective from Central Eastern Europe" at the Ludwig-Maximillians-Universität (LMU) Munich. The lecture is part of an international workshop, organised by Europaeum, an association of sixteen of Europe's leading universities.
Martin Schulze Wessel is speaker of the Graduate School and Chair of East and Southeast European History at LMU Munich. His lecture will take place in LMU Munich's historic main building at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1 in lecture theater A 015, starting at 7:00 p.m. This event is convened by Professor Dr Martin Geyer (Munich).
The Europaeum is an association of sixteen of Europe’s leading universities. Founded in 1992 by Oxford University, and on the vision of Lord Weidenfeld, the Europaeum brings together talented students and faculty working in the Humanities and the Social Sciences, to promote a better ‘sense of Europe’ through collaboration and academic mobility.
