Curriculum Vitae
Since Winter Semester 2015/16 Assistant Professor at LMU Munich's Institute for Theatre Studies as well as Affiliated Researcher at the Graduate School. As a Junior Researcher in Residence at LMU Munich's Center for Advanced Studies in Winter Semester 2018/19, Berenika was working on her habilitation project. In this context, she invited Kati Röttger from Amsterdam and Jochen Oltmer from Osnabrück to Munich und held the workshop "Actors on the Move". Since 2013, she has been mentee of the mentoring program within the framework of LMUexcellent. 2013-2015 Postdoctoral Researcher at the Graduate School. 2011-2012 she was a lecturer in Theatre Studies at the University of Bayreuth. She completed her PhD in Theatre Studies at LMU with a thesis on the theatricality of Polish opposition movements in the 1980s. From 2011 to 2013, she was fellow of the program "Talente sichern – Zukunft gestalten" (Cusanuswerk/BMBF). She studied Dramaturgy, Slavic Philology and Intercultural Communication at the Bavarian Theater Academy and the LMU in Munich.
